   1. The candidate is a registered Girl Scout.
   2. The candidate is between the ages of 5-17.
   3. The service performed by the candidate is a:

Girl of Courage – courage is defined as the "mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty." In the world of Girl Scouting, girls take active roles in their communities as they continue to make the world a better place.

Girl of Confidence – confidence is defined as "confidence in oneself and in one's powers and abilities." In the world of Girl Scouting, girls show their confidence when they make the most of their strengths and feel empowered to make a difference in their lives and beyond as they continue to make the world a better place.

Girl of Character – character is defined as "moral excellence and firmness." In the world for Girl Scouting, girls show their character when they act with integrity and compassion, making decisions that promote the well-being of themselves and others as they continue to make the world a better place.
