Volunteer Years of Service Pins indicate total years of registered active adult volunteer service in Girl Scouting. Pins are available in 5-year intervals. Five through fifteen year pins are purchased by the individual or the service unit. Twenty years and higher are purchased by the council. All pins are awarded by the Service Unit and given out at a local event.
