Daisy Petal Power Program

Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois offers a summer program for kindergarten girls or girls entering kindergarten in the fall of 2012. The Daisy Petal Power Program is a Girl Scout program by mail.

An opportunity for Kindergarteners and their parents to explore the world of Girl Scouts during the summer, before they meet with a troop.

During the months of May, June, July and August, kindergarteners will  receive a themed packet in the mail with fun activities to introduce them to the Girl Scout Daisy program. There will be monthly activities for girls and supplemental materials for adults. Each girl will also be registered as a member of Girl Scouts and offered the opportunity to join a troop in the fall of 2012. We will finish the summer with a Daisy Garden Tea Party!

The cost for this program is $35 for non-registered girls (grants are available - click here for Petel Power Grant Form) and covers the supplies for the program, the Girl Scout membership for 2012-2013 and entrance into the Daisy Garden Tea Party. (Cost for a currently registered Girl Scout is $23.)
